IB Physics: Effect of Length on Period of a Simple Peundulum

In my first year of IB Physics, we studied simple pendulums and were asked to design a lab in which we studied an independent variable of our choosing, string length in my case, on a dependent variable of our choosing. For mine, this was the time period of the oscillation. While the position of the pendulum is represented by a sinusoidal function, the relationship between time period, T, and length, l, is linear.
